BIO

You may want to call Ron Genta if you want to punch up the colors in your house or give your walls depth and distinction with custom faux finishes. Call him if you want unique signage or funny art, original murals for your restaurant interior or home, a juicy wine label; a celebratory banner or commercial illustrations for your magazine ad. Just don't ask Ron to whip up some computer generated stuff in Photoshop because this graphic designer and painter prefers the human touch to his art. The common denominator in Genta's bevy of tropical landscapes pop art Tabasco labels, chili peppers and other crazy stuff is simply and "Fun". He is happy to say that his unpretentious work "brings original art to the masses."

His art leaps off the walls with striking force that captures the imagination of all who encounter it. Vivid colors pop off the canvas with an attitude that is larger than life. With a flare for the zany and a knack for nailing icons, he brings a fresh perspective to the art scene.

Ron Genta a Ringling College of Art alumni made his home in Hawaii for nearly 20 years and is well known in the Honolulu Art community for his boldly designed, brightly colored paintings. With great energy and enthusiasm, Genta customarily weaves his wide ranging interest into a body of work which seems at once to be part homage, part satire, part commentary and part fun. Works by Genta can be found in numerous private collections nationwide.
